Summary

Located in the iconic AC/DC lane in Melbourne is Bar Bambi, a project that took over two years to create due to the global pandemic. The entire space was demolished and reconstructed and fitted out by one of the best commercial construction companies in Melbourne.


What We Did

  • Staged program working around lockdown restrictions
  • Major demolition and excavation works, including extensive new in-ground civil services
  • Concrete supporting upstands and underpinning
  • Working in CBD Laneway
  • New construction of concrete slabs, structural steel and new reinforcing retaining walls to both stages
  • Ceiling coffers throughout
  • Imported copper bar backing
  • New bar and server spaces with custom stainless steel, feature joinery counters, supply, and installation of new equipment
  • Feature Bar with stone top and cladding
  • Unique kitchen space, full fit out and stainless-steel equipment
  • Custom joinery with banquette seating, display units and waiters’ stations
  • New lighting and furniture throughout
